New Building - Nehemiah Project
After literally years of planning, more planning, re-planning, then a little more planning, it is exciting to finally observe tangible progress. These last twelve months have been both exciting and labor intensive as we've witness this building progress from holes in the ground to a recognizable school. At times, when standing inside the new building, it is almost possible to visualize happy students moving through the corridors on their way to class. It is certainly going to be a triumphant day when the school finally makes its move. On that day one will hear songs of praise echoing across the valley.
Although we anticipate moving into our new building in March, we are projecting a shortfall of about $600,000. In the table you will see some of the items that make up that shortfall. Recently a church in Wichita, Kansas raised over 1/3 of that sum, or a total of $210,000! This means we have only $398,000 to go! We are in the homestretch. We know there will be needs in the future, but most important now is to be able to occupy the new building and no longer pay rent at our old property. Details of how to give are included below.
Would you ask God to show you how He wants you to help TSIS meet its immediate need of $400,000 to complete this initial phase of construction? A gift at this time would enable TSIS’s new campus to become operational and would provide a solid base from which TSIS families and students can continue to influence the region for Christ well into the 21st century.
As we look back, we see that God has taken us on a remarkable journey thus far. May He continue to journey with us as we accomplish this task with an attitude of peace, grace, and gratitude.
